Indianapolis Colts fans are not happy with head coach Shane Steichen after what he said about quarterback Daniel Jones on Sunday.

The Colts suffered a 16-10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, and Jones completed 13-of-22 passes for 108 yards and one interception. After the game, Steichen was asked if he considered a quarterback change.

"No, I have not thought about a quarterback change," Steichen said. "I got a ton of faith in Daniel. The game plan today was to go in there and run the football. Obviously, at the end, he had the interception, and that happens in football."

The Colts are now 2-5 and on the verge of missing the playoffs for the sixth consecutive season. And with Steichen not considering a QB change, fans went to social media to call him out.

"This is a fireable offense," one fan wrote. "I get you don’t want to throw your players under the bus, but my God, man. Jones has been complete ass the whole season. I understand not saying “oh yeah, he’s getting benched,” but TRIPLING DOWN ON HIM?"

Shane Steichen has not had a good run with the Colts

"Why is (Carlie Irsay-Gordon) keeping this delusional, mediocre coach around?" another fan wrote. "He needs to be punched in his temple for parting his lips to say some bullshit like that. Carlie needs to make another boss move and fire him ASAP!"

"Any little faith I had left in Shane is gone now," a fan stated. "Our QB is actively playing against us out there (and) Shane hasn’t even considered a QB change!? WTF. If you want to run the ball anyway, the run game is likely going to be better with AR at QB."

Steichen is in his fourth season as the Colts head coach and has had one winning season. If things don't turn around for the Colts, Steichen could be fired since the organization announced last week it has relieved general manager Chirs Ballard of his duties.
