A 2-4 start and midseason general manager firing have sparked rampant speculation about the Indianapolis Colts moving Jonathan Taylor before the Nov. 10 deadline. The Colts would understandably want a lot for the star running back.
ESPN's Stephen Holder reported Thursday that "multiple teams" could explore a Taylor trade if the Colts shop him. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport concurred Friday on The Pat McAfee Show.
"If Jonathan Taylor is available, I would expect many teams to be interested," Rapoport said.

Rapoport believes the Colts will want a first-round pick in next year's draft, especially since they sent theirs to the New York Jets for Sauce Gardner last year. Someone could meet that lofty asking price, but the Colts may need to sweeten the pot alongside Taylor.
"You know the goal, right? They don't have a one because of Sauce. You know what they're gonna try and get back," Rapoport added. "If they have the kind of market that players never have during the season, then maybe they can get it. Maybe it's a one, give a little something back."
Rapoport also identified two potential suitors for Taylor. Colts interim general manager Ed Dodds worked as a scout and senior personnel executive for the Seattle Seahawks, who can use a running back after letting Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III sign with the Kansas City Chiefs. Meanwhile, Minnesota Vikings general manager Nolan Teasley was also a scout alongside Dodds in Seattle.

The Colts aren't necessarily planning to trade Taylor, who has 492 rushing yards and seven touchdowns this season. Yet rival teams told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler that they expect Indianapolis to be "open for business" before the deadline.
Trade chatter could intensify if the Colts don't rebound from consecutive losses against the Minnesota Vikings this Sunday.
