The reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett has been out since Week 1 of the season as he underwent arthroscopic surgery on his knee.
The Los Angeles Rams had high hopes for Garrett after acquiring him in a blockbuster trade back in June, but the surgery has held him back from delivering on those expectations so far.
There's no update on when Garrett will return to action as he remains on the injured reserve list without his 21-day practice window being opened yet. One person who could provide some insight into his recovery process though is Garrett's girlfriend Chloe Kim, two-time Olympic gold medalist snowboarder.

Kim sat down with "Yahoo! Sports Daily" and spoke about her boyfriend briefly, but didn't provide much detail about his return timeline.
"Honestly, we don't talk too much about our jobs per se and our sports," Kim said. "I think that's a really fun thing about our relationship."

...
Even though Kim isn't sharing when fans could expect to see Garrett back on the football field, she did sound optimistic about his rehab process.
"The thing about Myles, and everyone who knows him knows this, he is such a hard worker. He is doing everything he can to get back out there," Kim said. "... He's up getting his things done, doing everything he can to come back stronger. He's well on his way. The thing about that man, he's stubborn in the best ways. No injury is going to hold him back."
Kim added that she is specifically excited about wearing some awesome outfits when supporting Garrett from the sidelines in Los Angeles.
Hopefully Garrett's recovery continues to progress in a positive direction, and that fans will get to see him back on the field in no time.
