The Kelce family just can’t seem to stay out of the spotlight.
Fresh off her appearance on the hit television show “Traitors,” Donna Kelce found herself in the headlines inadvertently after TMZ reported that the 73-year-old was taking on a home renovation project that sparked a social media firestorm.
“Travis and Jason Kelce’s mom, Donna Kelce, is in the middle of a home renovation … TMZ has learned,” the outlet tweeted on Saturday in a post that has over 30 million views and had thousands of people commenting on social media about why such a mundane topic was newsworthy.

The attention the post got sparked the Kansas City Chiefs to take a jab at Fox-owned celebrity gossip publication while announcing that Pro Bowl tight end Travis Kelce re-signed with the team on the opening day of NFL free agency.
“Sources confirm that Donna Kelce's youngest son is returning to the Chiefs for his 14th season in the NFL,” the team posted on X on Wednesday.

The post brought about some amusing reactions on social media.
“Second biggest Kelce news this week… and we’re still waiting for the real headline!” one fan wrote.

The Chiefs weren’t the only one to shade TMZ over its Donna Kelce post, however.
Travis’ older brother Jason also poked fun at the situation, posting a tongue-in-cheek message on X about his television watching habits.
“BREAKING!! Sources confirm Donna Kelce’s eldest son watched 2 hours of Bluey yesterday,” Jason tweeted on Sunday, poking fun at the tabloid.
