Kunkel shared the mugshot images of Worthy alongside the police report, which indicates what the receiver was booked for. There are no additional details regarding his arrest, and no statement has yet been made by the Chiefs organization.

Worthy was selected by the Chiefs in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Kansas City pulled off a trade to move up and select the former Texans Longhorns receiver.
Worthy impressed the NFL world at the NFL Combine when he recorded the fastest-ever 40-yard dash. His official time of 4.21 seconds was good enough to secure the record, which had been previously set by John Ross in 2017. Ross secured 4.22 seconds.
Worthy's speed was something that the Chiefs coveted, and they made sure to move up to secure his talents. The rookie made an immediate impact in training camp and was slated for a starting role in the 2024 season.
Worthy made the most of his time as a starter, putting together a rookie campaign that includes 638 yards and six touchdowns, along with 104 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Though he was viewed to be a true wide receiver, the Chiefs used him in rushing offensive packages as well.
Unfortunately for the Chiefs and Worthy, the team was bested by the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX. Worthy will have to wait for a potential championship win.
The NFL is sure to investigate the arrest, along with the Chiefs. If Worthy is found to have violated the personal conduct policy, he could be facing a lengthy suspension heading into the 2025 season.
Getting arrested is certainly not ideal, nor is it ideal when a young player gets into trouble early on in their career. Hopefully, Worthy can learn from this incident and not repeat mistakes.
For now, the NFL will have to investigate before they hand down whatever punishment may be coming.
