The Arizona Cardinals pulled off a 33-30 overtime upset against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 8, but it seems to have unfortunately come at a great cost.

According to Josh Weinfuss of ESPN, Cardinals star wide receiver Michael Wilson revealed after the game that he has two broken ribs.

Only time will tell how serious Wilson's injury is and if he'll have to miss time, but there's no understating how much he means to the Cardinals offense, especially after the team traded away wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. to the Houston Texans a couple of weeks ago.

Wilson had a breakout season in 2025 with a career-high 78 catches for 1,006 yards and seven touchdowns, and he has picked up right where he left off with 37 catches for 375 yards and one touchdown this season.

If Wilson does have to miss time, the Cardinals wide receiver room will start to look very bleak with veterans Kendrick Bourne, Reggie Virgil, Simi Fehoko and Devin Duvernay next in line.

The Cardinals signed Wilson to a three-year, $75 million contract extension in September for that exact reason, so there's no doubt they are hoping for the best.

A third-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, Wilson has recorded 200 catches for 2,494 yards and 15 touchdowns in his professional career.
