Egbuka, a star wide receiver, does not own the X account @EgbukaEmeka, the team reported. The false X user posted “Is CTE even real?” with a thinking emoji on Wednesday.

Tampa Bay selected him No. 19 out of Ohio State in the 2025 NFL Draft. Egbuka quickly became a go-to wide receiver for quarterback Baker Mayfield with 63 receptions for 938 yards and six touchdowns in 2025.
The former Buckeyes star made the All-Rookie team, and he helped the Buccaneers take second in the NFC South, just missing the playoffs. Egbuka’s role is expected to grow with the departure of star wide receiver Mike Evans in free agency.
Both Egbuka and fellow star wide receiver Chris Godwin will be called upon to keep the Buccaneers' passing game going strong. Egbuka finished with an average of 14.9 yards per reception, so he can help Mayfield and company stretch the field.

Egbuka is a Tacoma, Washington, native, where he first starred as a prep standout with Steialcoom High before Ohio State head coach Ryan Day recruited him in 2021.
