Brian Daboll and the New York Giants are in danger of another season getting away from them, as they fell to 0-3 after losing to the Kansas City Chiefs 22-9 on Sunday.

In Week 2, Russell Wilson looked like the Seahawks version as he threw for 450 yards and three touchdowns in the overtime loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Against the Chiefs, he couldn't get anything going as he was 18-of-32 for 160 yards and two interceptions.

The Giants had the ball inside the 10 late in the game, and Wilson multiple times threw the ball out of the back of the endzone. Those decisions drew boos from the crowd, and had fans screaming for Jaxson Dart to get a chance.

Daboll was asked about if Wilson is going to be the starter in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Chargers, and the coach wouldn't confirm who was starting the game.

"I'd say we are evaluating everything," Daboll said. "I'm not saying who's starting or who's not starting. I'm just saying, we're evaluating everything right now. We're going through the tape from yesterday and we're evaluating every position right now."

While Daboll didn't come out and say that Wilson had lost his job, that wasn't a very ringing endorsement of the quarterback.

Dart did get into the game for a few plays, but it was out of a package and he ran only RPOs.

There have been multiple reports coming out that the Giants really like what they have in Dart, but they don't want to put him out too early. Daboll was with the Bills when Josh Allen was a rookie, while offensive coordinator Mike Kafka was with the Kansas City Chiefs when Patrick Mahomes was a rookie.

Allen had a tough start to his career playing immediately, while Mahomes was able to learn from a veteran like Alex Smith, and then was able to flourish immediately.

Daboll wasn't shy with how much he loved Dart during the draft process. Dart is obviously the quarterback of the future, but is Daboll the coach of the future in New York? There may not be a coach in the NFL who is on more of a hot seat. Does he want to continue to ride it out with Wilson, or does he want to at least get a chance to work with Dart?

The Giants host one of the best teams in the NFL in Week 4 in the Los Angeles Chargers, so do you want to throw a rookie out in that game for a first start? There are many decisions to be made in New York, and the first domino could be letting the rookie get the start.
