Though he was fired as head coach of the New York Giants after a 2-8 start earlier this season, Brian Daboll is a hot commodity among teams looking for a new head coach or offensive coordinator.
Daboll has been connected to several high-profile jobs including Buffalo Bills head coach and Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator, but according to one prominent NFL insider, there’s only two jobs that he really wants.
“The Eagles are conducting their offensive coordinator search with the understanding that Brian Daboll wants the Bills’ head coaching job,” Russini reported. “If he doesn’t land it, Daboll is expected to wind up in Tennessee as the offensive coordinator for Cam Ward and the Titans, per sources.”

Many analysts believe Daboll has a solid shot of landing the Bills job.
He served as offensive coordinator for Buffalo from 2018 through 2021 before landing the Giants gig. The Bills had the No. 5 offense and No. 3 scoring offense during Daboll’s last year with the team. They ranked second in both categories the previous year.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter provided a little more clarity on Daboll’s status with the Bills on Thursday morning.

“Brian Daboll is interviewing today with the Buffalo Bills,” Schefter said. “He follows Joe Brady, who was interviewing with the Buffalo Bills yesterday. Joe Brady is in Baltimore today, while Brian Daboll is interviewing with the Bills owners.”
If Daboll doesn’t get the Bills job, he’s a natural fit in Tennessee under close friend and newly hired head coach Robert Saleh.
The Titans have plenty of offensive talent to work with in No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward, 1,000-yard running back Tony Pollard, 1,000-yard WR Calvin Ridley, promising young receivers Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike, and emerging tight end Gunnar Helm, plus an offensive line anchored by former No. 7 overall pick JC Lathm and former No. 11 pick Peter Skoronski.
