The Buffalo Bills will welcome the Baltimore Ravens for a highly-anticipated Week 8 matchup on Sunday, likely pitting two of the NFL's best quarterbacks against each other.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen is fresh coming off the team's Week 7 bye, and Jackson appears to be trending in the right direction after missing each of the last three games with an ankle injury.

When speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Allen was asked about his upcoming matchup against the two-time NFL MVP.

“The competitor in you wants to go out and compete against best of the best," Allen said. "Since Lamar's entered the league, he’s been one of the best if not the best quarterback. What he's consistently done when he's on the field is unbelievable — he's a very special player. I've got so much respect for him.

"He does some amazing things with the football — with his arm and his legs. That’s why you play this game. To have matchups like this. ... You have to be at the top of your game to beat the other team that has these type of quarterbacks."

Allen has been solid through the Bills' 5-1 start to the season, completing 66.7% of his pass attempts for 1,504 yards, nine touchdowns and four interceptions, while rushing for 240 yards and a league-leading eight touchdowns with his legs.

Jackson logged full practice participation on Wednesday, a great sign for his availability leading into this weekend's matchup.
