Coleman is dealing with a wrist injury, while Kincaid returned to practice this week but will be sidelined again due to his knee injury. Kincaid was a limited participant in practice all three days this week, and thus, his availability could've gone either way.
Kincaid has missed Buffalo's last two games because of issues with his knee. He initially sustained the injury in Week 10 against the Indianapolis Colts. Prior to his injury, Kincaid recorded 356 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Kincaid is expected to return to the Bills offense by next week. Coleman was also listed as a limited participant, but after the rookie was dressed in street clothes during Buffalo's warmups it was evident he would need another week to recover.
Coleman is second on the Bills in both receiving yards (417) and receiving touchdowns (3), despite missing the last three games with a wrist injury.
The Bills clinched the AFC East title last week in their victory over the San Francisco 49ers. Buffalo remains on the hunt for the No. 1 seed with five games remaining in the season.
The Bills will have to journey onward without two pass-catchers in Coleman and Kincaid.
Bills head coach Sean McDermott shared the team's approach for the remaining games of the regular season.
"We have to continue to think differently, and these guys have done that all season long," McDermott said via the team transcript. "And whether it's winning the division, opponents we've played in the past that people perceive to be a certain game or a certain size of game, or playing on a short week. Our guys have done a great job of orientating their minds in a different way this season. And I know that's what we have to continue to do. And I know they're up for that challenge."
Quarterback Josh Allen was optimistic about the Bills' remaining games as the team hopes to make a deep playoff run.
"It's no different this week than it was last week," Allen said. "We're having fun doing what we do, and we're very intentional about what we're doing, and it's the same mindset that we've had throughout the season. It's our commitment to preparing the best that we can and putting our best foot forward every time we step on the field."
