The Buffalo Bills are on the road for their first-round NFL playoff matchup, traveling to Jacksonville to face the Jaguars at 1 p.m. EST on Sunday in the opening game of a three-game slate.
Buffalo finished the regular season 12–5 but lost the AFC East to the New England Patriots, forcing the Bills to enter the postseason as a wild card. They secured the No. 6 seed, while the Jaguars (13–4) earned the No. 3 seed after winning the AFC South.
Injury reports were mostly clean heading into the game, aside from wide receiver Joshua Palmer being ruled out. That development led to several notable roster moves less than 24 hours before kickoff.

After placing Palmer on injured reserve, Buffalo signed linebacker Baylon Spector from the practice squad and elevated defensive end Andre Jones Jr., along with running back Frank Gore Jr., the son of NFL legend Frank Gore.
Gore Jr. went undrafted in the 2024 NFL draft but signed with the Bills as an undrafted free agent, joining the same franchise his father played for a year during his illustrious 16-year NFL career.
It remains unclear what kind of role Gore Jr. will have, as the Bills rely heavily on running back James Cook for the majority of the carries.
However, Buffalo has also mixed in Ray Davis and Ty Johnson throughout the season, and with Johnson listed as questionable, there could be an opportunity for Gore Jr. to carve out a very limited offensive role while potentially contributing on special teams.
