The Chicago Bears achieved an impressive 34-17 win on the road over the Seattle Seahawks in "Monday Night Football," with all three phases coming through for the visitors, including Caleb Williams and the offense.

The Bears had 363 total yards of offense. Williams completed 24 of 34 passes for 247 yards and a touchdown to lead the way, while teammate D'Andre Swift had three rushing touchdowns.

Williams finished the game with a 101.0 passer rating, but also achieved an NFL record. The Bears revealed on social media that Williams is the first player in NFL history to go 36 consecutive regular-season games without throwing multiple interceptions while attempting at least 20 passes in each game.

However, the Bears' social media post didn't specify that Williams' record applied only to regular-season games, prompting criticism from several fans. He threw five interceptions during the Bears' 2025-26 NFL Playoff games against the Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Rams.

"Bragging about not throwing picks in regular season but throwing 5 in the playoffs (2 games) is crazy," one commenter wrote.

"Gotta put regular season games in the verbiage. Technically this is cap," another commenter said.

"36 consecutive REGULAR season games ... keep it up Iceman," a commenter said, also praising the feat.

Williams' regular-season performances certainly bode well for the Bears, a franchise that has often had mixed levels of success with the quarterbacks they've selected high in the NFL Draft.

Among Williams' predecessors at the position were Mitchell Trubisky and Justin Fields, neither of whom established this level of consistency or helped turn the Bears into legitimate Super Bowl contenders. Many fans and analysts believe this Bears team, led by Williams, has a chance to reach that level.

This season, Williams has completed 112 of 158 passes for 1,267 yards and six touchdowns, with just one interception thrown. The Minnesota Vikings, known for their strong defense this season, are the only team to have intercepted Williams so far.

Williams' ability to limit interceptions has been a major talking point during his first three seasons. In his rookie year, he had six interceptions and threw seven last year. It speaks volumes about Williams' decision-making and knowing when to make a throw, scramble for yards, or throw the ball away.

Williams can continue his impressive streak of not throwing multiple interceptions in regular-season games when the Bears host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, Nov. 8, at 1 p.m. ET.
