The Chicago Bears pulled off a massive last-second win against the Washington Commanders on Monday night, improving to 3-2 on the season. A big reason for the win was due to the tough play from star receiver DJ Moore.

Moore not only brought in 42 yards on three receptions, but he also rushed the ball for 10 yards on two carries. He appeared to be everywhere on the field, even in blocking situations, which led to a significant injury.

It was revealed that Moore was taken to the hospital for "precautionary medical attention." The star receiver apparently suffered a significant enough injury that led to him being taken to a local hospital.

Now, Bears head coach Ben Johnson offered a massive injury update on the star receiver.

Per Kevin Fishbain, Johnson told reporters, "Good news is he's back in Chicago now and we'll take him day by day."

Johnson also revealed that Moore suffered a groin injury. Being hospitalized is never a good sign, but it does sound like the Bears' playmaker may have suffered an injury the team believed to be more severe, resulting in needing to be checked out further.

The good news is Moore has been given a "day-to-day" injury designation, which could mean he can play in the team's Week 7 showdown with the New Orleans Saints.

Moore currently has 215 receiving yards and one touchdown, along with 25 rushing yards. The Bears are continuing to use him in certain dual-role type of situations, which have shown flashes of big play energy thus far

The hope for the Bears is that the groin injury Moore suffered is nothing that will keep him out for more than just one game. It does not sound like he will miss time, but groin injuries can often linger and get worse. For now, he appears far better off than initially expected.
