It’s no secret that Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers dislikes most mainstream media, particularly ESPN.
A notoriously private person, Rodgers hasn’t passed up many chances to rip any major networks or reporters who criticized him for a number of different issues over the years including his stance on getting the COVID vaccine, his use of ayahuasca, his 2023 darkness retreat, and several other topics.
So when the opportunity presented itself for Rodgers to rip into ESPN during an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show,” which airs Monday through Friday on the same network, he didn’t hesitate to let the bullets fly, so to speak.

While going on a rant about Dr. Anthony Fauci, Rodgers called out ESPN for not covering the Dianna Russini scandal involving New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel.

...
“How much time did (ESPN) spend on my responses every week, on my vaccination status, on Taylor and Travis’ wedding? Did they do even a minute on Tony Fauci?” Rodgers asked.
“There was another scandal this offseason too, involving a voter for MVP and Coach of the Year. How much time did your network spend on that? How much time do you think?”
Rodgers certainly isn’t the first person to slam the sports broadcasting giant for turning a blind eye to the Russini-Vrabel situation.
The network did publish a piece on ESPN.com divulging some details about the events that led to Russini resigning from The Athletic, but nothing was spoken publicly about it on any broadcasts.
Rodgers was never one to bite his tongue before, and now that he’s entering his final NFL season before heading into retirement, it seems like he won’t be pulling any punches when it comes to issues that grind his gears.
