It's been an up and down fall for Bill Belichick in his second season as the University of North Carolina football team's head coach.
The Tar Heels are 4-4 and have already matched last season's win total, but UNC is coming off a 38-35 loss versus No. 1 Miami in a game that represented Belichick's first defeat in his entire coaching career when his team scored at least 35 points.
The former New England Patriots coaching legend had been 103-0 in such situations, dating back to 1991.

Belichick and the Tar Heels also made headlines in September when the 74-year-old's son -- Steve Belichick -- resigned from his post as North Carolina's defensive coordinator. That move came amid allegations that the younger Belichick used drugs while with the team or provided drugs to at least one player.

Now, the elder Belichick's relationship with 25-year-old Jordon Hudson is back in the spotlight, and the six-time Super Bowl champion isn't happy about it.
According to a report by Brian Murphy and Pat Welter of Pat Welter of WRAL News, Hudson wasn't seen at the Tar Heels' home loss against the Hurricanes on Saturday, despite her being "a regular" on the sidelines and at Belichick's press conferences since he started at North Carolina.
Both People and TMZ reported on Friday that the controversial couple broke up last year but remain friends.
Belichick and the Tar Heels will look to snap their two-game losing on Saturday when they face Connecticut on the road.
