After Saturday's huge win for Ole Miss, Trinidad Chambliss became the second quarterback to issue an apology to ESPN sideline reporter Holly Rowe about a post-game interview in the past week.

After the Rebels defeated Lane Kiffin in his return to Oxford, Mississippi, with the LSU Tigers, Rowe spoke with Chambliss on the field, and he was certainly fired up after the win. However, that included the talented Ole Miss quarterback delivering an F-bomb before his interview concluded on live television.

"I just trust in God. I trust in my preparation as well. We worked our butts off this whole week and this whole year, and it's just go and do it," he told Rowe, who thanked him for the interview.

"Thank you so much. Hotty [expletive] toddy!" Chambliss shouted to the camera, gesturing with his hand before rushing away from the interview.

Chambliss's ABC moment and ESPN clip went viral, and he received some instant backlash on social media. However, he later apologized for his behavior and remarks while answering a question about his emotions at a postgame media session.

A reporter asked Chambliss to speak about the amount of emotion he experienced when taking a knee at the end of the game to finish off the win.

"Emotions were high. That's the best play in football, you know, being in victory formation. But yeah, my emotions were high after the game. I got kind of caught up in the moment with the interview. That's not who I am, so I deeply, I'm deeply apologetic to Holly Rowe and, you know, everyone out there who was listening," Chambliss told reporters, reiterating, "That's not who I am."

Chambliss led the Ole Miss Rebels to a 32-24 victory over LSU. The standout quarterback completed 33 of 48 passes for 363 yards and two touchdowns, with one interception. The Rebels QB also scored a rushing touchdown to aid in his team's win.

It was the second big national television interview to make headlines, featuring Rowe as ABC's sideline reporter. In the previous week's Saturday night showdown between Ohio State and Texas, Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian shouted in support of his team, flashed a gesture, and then abruptly left Rowe without much of an interview.

ABC and ESPN later revealed that they'd been experiencing technical issues with the postgame interview, and Sarkisian had waited a long time before they could finally cut to him. He cut things short after patiently waiting a long time, for which ESPN said they'd apologized to Sarkisian.

However, it didn't end with that, as AI-generated videos featuring Rowe and Sarkisian went viral afterward, including one that Texas quarterback Arch Manning joked about at a press conference. Manning later apologized for his insensitive remarks, which Rowe accepted and mentioned on her social media.

So far, there have only been a few games in the college football season. One has to wonder what's in store for the postgame interviews after the big game between Texas A&M and LSU on Saturday, Sept. 26.
