The No. 14 LSU Tigers had a concern pop up the SEC availability report this week, with tight end Trey'Dez Green listed Friday as questionable to play in a pivotal contest against the No. 5 Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday.
The Tigers sit on the bubble to make the College Football Playoff before playing their rival, the Crimson Tide at home. A loss to Alabama could crush LSU's chances of making the CFP, as the Tigers would have a third loss on their resume with just three games remaining on the schedule.
During an ABC broadcast, ESPN's Laura Rutledge provided an update on Green just hours before LSU was set to play Alabama. Green is dealing with a stomach bug, but is available to play on Saturday.

“LSU fans got a little concerned yesterday when their star tight end Trey’Dez Green popped as questionable on the injury report,” Rutledge said, via On3. “He has had the stomach bug that he has been dealing with for a couple days now.
“I’m told he’s available and 100% as he heads into this game. Something to keep an eye on, though, either way. I did see him out at practice yesterday and he was running around, looked as though he was ready to go.”
Green has 19 receptions for 272 yards and two touchdowns through four games this season. He suffered a knee injury in LSU's loss over Ole Miss that kept him out until the Tigers beat Auburn 38–17 on Oct. 24. Green should be a big boost for LSU's offense against Alabama and will open up space for his talented receivers.
Wide receiver Jackson Harris leads LSU with 634 yards receiving and seven touchdowns on 36 receptions. Winston Watkins Jr. is the second-leading receiver on the Tigers with 37 catches for 487 yards and two touchdowns.
