Clemson earned a 36-24 victory over Florida State last weekend, and quarterback Tait Reynolds took a shot at the Seminoles this week.

During a press conference on Wednesday, Reynolds jokingly said that Florida State used artificial crowd noise during the game, despite low attendance. He said that after hearing artificial noise behind him during the presser.

“I think Florida State was playing some crowd noise,” Reynolds said. “It got louder throughout the game. I was like, there was nobody there. It got loud. I was like, ‘What the heck?’ This week should be loud, so we’ll be good.”

“That was embarrassing. Florida State’s better than that,” Swinney said after the game. “That’s not good for these kids. They didn’t even spell his name right. It’s disrespectful. Mike Norvell is a good man. He ain’t gonna say it, but I’m gonna. Whoever did that, you ought to be ashamed of yourself.

“Ain’t nobody trying to lose. This job is hard. I don’t know why we think because people make money, you have the right to destroy people as humans. I don’t know where we became this, as a society where it’s OK to tear people down. It’s like a blood sport now."
