Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart will each throw out ceremonial first pitches before the New York Yankees' matchup against the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday night, the team announced.
Brunson and Hart just led the New York Knicks to the franchise's first NBA title since 1973, taking down Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals.
Brunson averaged a stunning 32.6 points per game in the championship series, enough to earn him Finals MVP honors. He closed out the series with a 45-point performance in Game 5, securing a 94-90 final score in San Antonio.

"Tonight. The Champs. First Pitches at Yankee Stadium," the Yankees wrote on social media.
