It's been a wild last 24 hours for the NBA. Late Monday night, three-time All-Star Julius Randle landed in Brooklyn as part of a three-team deal involving Minnesota and Chicago.

Then, just hours later, Giannis Antetokounmpo, a two-time league MVP and face of the Milwaukee Bucks for over a decade, was shipped to the Miami Heat in one of the most seismic trades in NBA history. And if this league has shown us anything, it's that draft night can sometimes bring even more fireworks.

With the 2026 NBA Draft just about to kick off, here are three stars who could be on the move before the night is over.

Jaylen Brown - Boston Celtics

Boston used Brown as the centerpiece of their failed attempt to land Giannis, and now analysts across the NBA are saying he will inevitably get traded. ESPN's Brian Windhorst even said that a Brown trade "could happen today" if a draft pick is involved. He is coming off a career year, averaging 28.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game. The Chicago Bulls (No. 4), Los Angeles Clippers (No. 5), Sacramento Kings (No. 7), and Atlanta Hawks (No. 8) all hold picks inside the top 10 and have been linked to Brown in recent weeks.

Kyrie Irving - Dallas Mavericks

Irving is another player whose name has been involved in trade rumors for weeks. Dallas' new president, Masai Ujiri, has said that he wants to keep him in a Mavericks uniform, but with an incoming new coach in Dusty May and a 19-year-old Cooper Flagg as the face of the franchise, now might be the time to move on from the 34-year-old star. The Mavericks hold the No. 9 and No. 30 overall picks in the 2026 NBA Draft. Pair those with Irving, and Dallas has real ammunition to make a big move tonight.

L.A. Clippers star Kawhi Leonard

Kawhi Leonard - Los Angeles Clippers

Leonard averaged a career-high 27.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.9 steals in 65 games this season. He's playing some of the best basketball of his career, but he's still owed $50.3 million next season and will turn 35 on June 29. He has just one year left on his deal, making now the time to move off him if the Clippers intend to rebuild around a younger core.

LA has the No. 5 overall pick in the draft, which many speculate they could use on draft night to make a blockbuster. The Golden State Warriors, who hold the No. 11 overall pick, have been most strongly linked to Leonard.
