The Philadelphia 76ers suffered their first loss of the 2026-27 NBA season on Sunday, falling to the Detroit Pistons with a 106-93 final score.

The Pistons finished the game with a notable rebounding edge over the 76ers, notching 54 rebounds to Philadelphia's 37.

When speaking with reporters in the locker room postgame, LeBron James was asked about what the 76ers need to do in order to fix these rebounding issues. The superstar NBA veteran took a light-hearted approach with his response, referencing the iconic NCAA Tournament interview featuring then-Baylor forward Taurean Prince.
