How to Watch Utah Jazz vs Houston Rockets

Read More on NBA

Houston went big during the offseason, acquiring aging superstar Kevin Durant from the Phoenix Suns in a deal that morphed into a record-setting seven-team trade when the dust settled. The Rockets re-acquired center Clint Capela from the Atlanta Hawks in a sign-and-trade as part of the monster swap and lost Jalen Green and Dillon Brooks to the Suns in the process. Free-agent acquisition Dorian Finney-Smith will likely miss the start of the regular season with an ankle injury, and point guard Fred VanVleet could be out for the entire campaign after tearing an ACL last month.

Utah finished an NBA-worst 17-65 before Lady Luck dropped them out of the top four in the lottery, where the Jazz ended up with Rutgers guard Ace Bailey at No. 5 overall. The club bought out veteran Jordan Clarkson, traded Collin Sexton for big man Jusuf Nurkić, and acquired vets Kevin Love and Kyle Anderson from the Miami Heat and Georges Niang from the Boston Celtics. Utah brings back Lauri Markkanen and Walker Kessler up front as well.

The Rockets beat the visiting Atlanta Hawks 122-113 on Monday night to open their preseason, getting 19 points in 17 minutes from emerging star center Alperen Şengün.

This is a great NBA matchup that you will not want to miss; make sure to tune in and catch all the action.
