Curry shared his advice after the Warriors defeated the Timberwolves 119-114.

He revealed that he had texted Edwards and encouraged his fellow Olympic teammate to approach rehabilitation with the same intensity he brings to basketball.

“Yeah, I texted him earlier and, you know, my Olympic teammate, we want to see him healthy. I know he’s going through some stuff with the knee, but you just got to do what you can with the rehab. Attack it the same way you do getting ready for games,” Curry said.

He also stressed the importance of staying positive throughout the recovery process.

“Get your body as bulletproof as possible, knowing that stuff happens, injuries happen. Keep your spirit right, and for him, it’s a long year,” Curry added. “He’ll be back in no time. And hopefully he can pick up where he left off because he was playing at such a high level.”

Edwards is scheduled to undergo arthroscopic surgery on his right knee. He could miss around two months, although the final timeline will depend on his recovery.

The injury comes at a frustrating time for Edwards, who averaged 33.3 points through Minnesota’s first four games. He recorded 45 points in the season opener against Miami and followed that with 47 against Cleveland.
