Regular attendees at Yankee Stadium this season might have heard a common refrain being yelled from the stands: "You suck, Jazz Chisholm Jr.!"
Chisholm agrees with them.
Never one to parse words, Chisholm spoke candidly about how he feels he's performed after homering in the New York Yankees' 2-1 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday. He was upfront about a dismal campaign thus far on both sides of the ball.

"It's sucked," Chisholm said in a video posted to X by SNY Yankees. "I've sucked all season. ... The numbers speak for themselves."
Indeed they do.
Chisholm's offensive production has fallen every season since he joined the Yankees in the middle of 2024. He's batting .224 with a .302 on-base percentage and 96 OPS+, all career worsts since he became an everyday player with the Miami Marlins in 2021. He's also committed seven errors despite being moved back to his natural position at second base full time.
So if you're a frustrated Yankees fan, feel free to boo Chisholm if he continues on this trajectory. Because according to him, he knows he deserves it.
