Star free agent Kyle Tucker is still on the market, though a report has revealed that three teams have met with him, and his free agency could soon start moving.

The MLB Hot Stove was colder than ever for a good deal of weeks after the Winter Meetings, but over the weekend, Alex Bregman reignited the flame by signing his big deal with the Chicago Cubs, and a domino effect could resume.

On Sunday, MLB Network Radio's Jim Duquette revealed that the Los Angeles Dodgers, Toronto Blue Jays, and New York Mets have all met with Tucker, either in person or through a video conference.

Tucker came into the offseason with the expectation that he would land a 10-year deal worth around $400 million, though as time has gone on, it seems highly unlikely that a deal of that nature will materialize, or at least not quickly.

Tucker is one of the more well-rounded players in baseball, able to hit, field, and run the bases at a good level, while also hitting for power and taking a patient, measured approach at the plate.

He hit 22 home runs and 73 RBI with a slash line of .266/.377/.464. He started the season off well, but a hand injury played a key role in his production falling, hurting his value entering the market.

However, he has been consistent throughout his career. Since the 2021 season, he has never had a campaign in which he was not credited with at least 4.2 fWAR.

Tucker is about to turn 29, entering his prime. For the Mets, Dodgers, and Blue Jays, getting the best years of his career could serve as a turning point in the World Series race.

The Dodgers need an outfielder, especially at the corners, and Tucker would upgrade the team's defense and boost the middle of the lineup.

The Blue Jays could benefit from adding another productive player alongside Vladimir Guerrero Jr. This would enhance a team that came very close to defeating the Dodgers.

On the other hand, the Mets missed the playoffs, but their ownership is ready to invest in the team to help it become a contender again. Acquiring Tucker would certainly strengthen their roster and address a need in the outfield.

With information on which teams he has met with, Tucker's market becomes clear, and it should only be a matter of time until it is resolved.
