The Los Angeles Dodgers' postseason run ended in a disappointing fashion, as they were swept by the Milwaukee Brewers in the NLCS.
With this, there is an expectation that the Dodgers will be a very busy team this offseason. They should be looking to strengthen their roster as they hope to win the World Series in 2027. Due to this, they are already being linked to a top trade candidate during the early days of the offseason.
In a recent article for Bleacher Report, Zachary D. Rymer urged the Dodgers to trade for Los Angeles Angels star shortstop Zach Neto.

Rymer proposed that the Dodgers should trade pitcher Justin Wrobleski, catcher Daulton Rushing, and pitcher Roki Sasaki to the Angels to land Neto. This would be a major trade package for the Dodgers to part ways with, but it could be worth it if it means adding Neto.
With the Dodgers needing another impactful middle infielder, it makes sense that they are being connected to Neto. He would give Los Angeles' roster a major boost if they acquired him, as he has emerged as a legitimate star with the Angels.
Neto appeared in 157 games this season with the Angels, where he had 27 home runs, 24 stolen bases, 77 RBI, and a .239 batting average. This marked the third season in a row that Neto recorded at least 23 home runs and 24 stolen bases. Thus, he would be a great addition for a team like the Dodgers. This is especially so when noting that he is under team control through the 2029 season and is just 25 years old.
