The Los Angeles Dodgers have officially signed star outfielder Kyle Tucker, designating outfielder Michael Siani for assignment to make room on the 40-man roster.
The Dodgers agreed to a deal with Tucker on Thursday night, ending his free agent saga that featured offers from the New York Mets and Toronto Blue Jays.
He ended up signing a four-year, $240 million deal with the Dodgers, making the World Series favorites even stronger and filling a roster need.

Los Angeles claimed Siani in the middle of December, adding an outfield depth piece from the Cincinnati Reds who can play all three outfield positions and specializes as a defender.

With the arrival of Tucker, one of the team's outfield pieces was seemingly going to be moved, either via a trade or roster transaction.
How does the Dodgers outfield look with Kyle Tucker?
On the 40-man, the Dodgers have Teoscar Hernandez, Alex Call, Andy Pages, and Ryan Ward in terms of outfielders.
Tommy Edman, Hyeseong Kim, and Mookie Betts can all play a position in the outfield, including Miguel Rojas, though the arrival of Tucker allows the Dodgers to keep most of them in the infield on an everyday basis.
Kike Hernández is still an outstanding free agent, though most baseball experts expect him to return to the Dodgers on a new deal.
According to Dave Roberts, Teoscar will move to left field, Andy Pages will take over in center, and Kyle Tucker will occupy the right field spot.
Additionally, Tucker is going to be batting at the top of the line-up as either the second or third hitter.
What is next for the Dodgers?
The franchise is connected to a potential trade for starting pitcher Freddy Peralta, a pitcher who is set to hit free agency after the upcoming season, though the Brewers are aiming to deal him before he walks away for free.
The Dodgers boast one of the best rotations in baseball, making Peralta a bit of a surplus, but their starters were incredibly taxed during the postseason, riding them hard amid the bullpen woes.
Adding another quality starter could help ease the burden on Shohei Ohtani, Yoshinbou Yamamoto, and Blake Snell, who worked heavily in October, along with Tyler Glasnow.
