During the third quarter of Thursday night's Las Vegas Aces game against the Indiana Fever, two men were escorted from their seats by security after the Aces' Jackie Young pointed them out to a referee.

The game was stopped with 4:38 remaining in the third quarter as Young spoke with the referee, motioning towards the fans, then called for "security" to come over a few times. Initially, security escorted a woman from her seat in the front row across from the Aces' bench out through the tunnel.

However, that woman returned to her seat a bit later, and two men who had been sitting nearby to her were escorted from their seats and out through the tunnel.

Young explained the incident after the Aces' 86-84 overtime win, indicating that one of the men had been saying stuff to her throughout the game but took things a "bit too far" at one point.

"He was just chirping all game," she said postgame, per ESPN. "I let him have it, and then he just made one that was a little bit too far.

"I think we'll just keep it in here," Young said when asked about what the fan said to her.

While the fans were escorted from their seats, a later statement indicated that the Fever determined there was "no code violation" and the fan elected to leave on his own.

"Following a report of a comment directed toward a player, arena security spoke with the fan involved and witnesses. Security determined there was no violation of the Fan Code of Conduct, the fan was not removed from the arena, but elected to leave. We consider the matter closed," a statement said, per Yahoo Sports.

Unfortunately, the fan incident overtook headlines for a great basketball game. The contest went into overtime, thanks to Chelsea Gray's buzzer-beating 3-pointer. Gray then knocked down the game-winner, also a buzzer-beating 3-pointer, to help the Aces win at Indiana, 86-84.

Young finished the game with 22 points, nine assists, four rebounds, and five fouls in the exciting overtime clash.

Following the win, Young shared a clear message about how fans should enjoy sports games they attend and not get carried away with what they're saying to the players on the court.

"They did the right thing. Obviously, we don't want to see fans get kicked out, but at the end of the day, we're human too. So let's just show up to games, have fun and not take it too far," Young said postgame.
