Seattle has won three games in a row, vaulting them back into contention for home-court advantage in the first round of the WNBA playoffs. They're currently in the No. 6 spot, three games back of the Phoenix Mercury. The Storm rode the hot hand of Nneka Ogwumike in their last game, as she went 6-for-7 from the 3-point line, scoring 30 points in a tight 84-82 win over the Washington Mystics.
The Fever, conversely, find themselves in a rut, having lost four of their last five games and two in a row. They've fallen back to the No. 8 seed, leading the Los Angeles Sparks by just one game. Their last game resulted in a 97-84 loss on the road to the Minnesota Lynx. Kelsey Mitchell scored 26 points with Shey Peddy adding 16 off the bench in the defeat.
This will be the third and final meeting of the season between the teams, with the Fever winning each of the first two.
