How to Watch Pumas UNAM vs Guadalajara

Pumas UNAM is eyeing its revenge over Guadalajara on Sunday as it looks to put some daylight between the two teams in the Liga MX Apertura standings. A single point separates the two play-off contenders as things stand, with Guadalajara holding the slimmest of advantages and sitting ninth in the pecking order.

Chivas is undefeated in its last three meetings with UNAM and triumphed at the Estadio Olimpico Universitario when they faced off most recently in March. Luis Rey decided all three points with his 92nd-minute winner on that occasion, but Guadalajara hasn't booked back-to-back away wins over Los Auriazules this side of the millennium.

Gabriel Milito's side is in the midst of a hot streak, however, after bounding up the table on the back of consecutive wins over Puebla and Necaxa. Guadalajara has also picked up a knack for particularly impressive performances on the road of late, with three of its last four wins coming away from home.

However, Chivas' chances are dampened by a number of injuries affecting the squad, with Roberto Alvarado, Leonardo Sepulveda, Erick Gutierrez, Daniel Aguirre, Alan Mozo, and club legend Javier Hernandez all struggling for fitness at present.
