After a stellar first three games of the WNBA Finals, Atlanta Dream star Angel Reese had a significant letdown in Saturday's Game 4 loss to the Golden State Valkyries.
The Dream star made just 2 of 12 field goals and had six turnovers in the team's 67-62 loss to the Valkyries. Atlanta shot 33.3% from the field, had 17 turnovers in the game, and never led by more than five points all game.
"I think I rushed a lot of my shots, and I didn't take my time and finish around the basket like I've been doing in the last three games. It happens," Reese told reporters after the loss.

In the three previous matchups, Reese had double-double performances, including a historic 30 points and 16 rebounds to power her team to a Game 2 victory. She helped the Dream take a 2-1 series lead with 21 points and 12 rebounds in Game 3.

Fans agreed with Reese's assessment of her performance, as they reacted to a clip of her comments on X suggesting the entire team was struggling down the stretch.
"Yes she was. I was yelling at her to stop rushing and slow down. Also, I thought Rhyne was rushing her 3pt shots. She literally had time to take set shots," one commenter wrote.
Another commented, "Everybody has a bad game. She will come back. Canada needs to start passing the ball more. They're back to iso-ball again."
"thats exactly why they lost. Down the stretch the entire team was rushing shots, they panicked, and it costed them the game. They only lost by 5. They’ll bounce back," a commenter said.
Reese and the Dream have already won more WNBA Finals games than the previous three Atlanta finals teams did, who were each swept out of their respective series. It's now tied at 2-2 and down to a best-of-three-games matchup.
The series shifts back to Golden State, where "Ballhalla" hosts Game 5, and the Valkyries look to regain the series lead after starting this WNBA Finals up 1-0. However, Reese seems due for another strong double-double performance, and Atlanta has shown they can win away from home, taking Game 2 there to even the series.
