There's always room for more food in this dog's belly and he's even willing to perform for an extra bite to eat.
The rescue dog's owner Alan Hoffman, 60, from Baltimore, Maryland, has recently shared how his dog acts when he sits down to eat his dinner. The TikTok footage shared to @alan.gordon shows 12-year-old Gus sitting next to the table with his sad eyes fixated on the owner in a desperate bid to gain some leftovers.
The text layered over the video says: "Every time I eat, my dog turns into an ASPCA commercial."

Hoffman told Newsweek: "Gus treats every meal at the table as though a portion of it should be earmarked for him. Even though he is fed generous amounts of snacks along with his regular standard food.
"He will patiently sit by the person who he feels he has the best chance of getting those random food morsels."
Hoffman, a pharmaceutical sales director, confirmed he doesn't give him scraps but has replaced dog treats with carrots.
Newsweek previously spoke to Lynne James, a vet for PDSA, about what not to feed a dog if you've ran out of dog food.
She said: "Whilst your pet may look at you longingly when you're eating, there's plenty of human foods that can be a danger to your pet."
James pointed out that chocolate and sweet treats are a huge no-go as they can be fatal to dogs. Other toxic foods include onions, garlic and chives, as they contain chemicals called organosulphoxides, which can poison dogs when enough is eaten.
Hoffman added: "Gus's daily routine involves chilling and eating along with three walks around the block. However, he could eat at any time of the day and totally doesn't discriminate with what goes into his tummy."
So far, the popular clip has amassed more than 13,000 comments.
One user joked: "Oh bless his heart, we can all pledge 3.17 a month to stop his suffering.... Mine do the same."
"I'd round up my change for this poor lil pup.... Breaks my heart that he doesn't get 8 meals a day," said another user.
A third comment said: "Yes!! Like they haven't eaten in a week, dogs are master manipulators."
"My cat does this. he'll slowly bat his eyes. when I make eye contact he'll slowly look down and then back up all side like. it's like I've broken his heart," said a fourth comment.
