A pair of Ragdoll cats called Chanel and Louis have left internet users in stitches after a video of them discovering that they no longer have access to kitchen counters went viral on TikTok.
The hilarious clip, shared on Monday under the username @chanelandlouisragdolls, shows one of the two felines walking around the kitchen looking for a stool to allow them to jump on a counter, while the other looks on attentively.
Unable to find one, the cat refuses to give up, trying to jump on the counter anyway without the help of a stool, although failing miserably.

"When you take away the bar stools so they can't jump on the kitchen counters," reads layover text in the clip. A caption says: "The way he really thought he could make the jump. Soon, buddy."
Cats are known for being very athletic and agile creatures, and according to an article by Georgia-based veterinarian Jess Kirk published on Vet Explains Pets, the average domestic cat can jump up to a height of around 9 feet in the air.
This incredible feature is the result of a combination of factors, including their strong leg muscles, flexible spine, and keen sense of balance. Among the most agile cat breeds are the Bengal and Abyssinian.
Cats need exercise and play time every day to thrive, and if your cat has become too lazy, there are things you can do to encourage them to move more.
A Catster article medically reviewed by Dr. Amanda Charles suggests enticing them to play before work or after, aiming for around 10 to 15 minutes of playtime each session, for a total of 30 to 45 minutes throughout the day.
Introducing new interactive toys; food puzzles; laser pointers; a cat tree; or even an exercise wheel are great ways to pique their interest, and engaging in play with them may also make them more likely to exercise.

One user, Briana, commented: "Give it a few days and they will figure it out."
Rice Krispies Treats said: "Don't worry they'll be back up there tomorrow."
Brownbourbongirl added: "They're going to be training like Rocky with the sole purpose of making that jump lol."
