Takeover: New York, arguably NXT's biggest show of the year, will take place Friday, April 5 at the Barclays Center.
Each title from WWE's NXT brand will be on the line, as well as the United Kingdom Championship, so fans expect the landscape of NXT and NXT U.K. to change tonight. There are five matches confirmed on the card and at least one new champion being decided due to vacancy.
That would be the NXT Championship 2 out of 3 Falls match between Johnny Gargano and Adam Cole. In March, reigning NXT champion Tommaso Ciampa had to vacate the title due to injury. Now, Gargano's rise to the top of NXT can culminate with a win in New York tonight, but Adam Cole and his Undisputed Era cohorts will try to remind the rest of the roster how strong they are as a unit.

The NXT Women's division has been anchored by the current champ, Shayna Baszler but her mean streak rubbed many in the locker room the wrong way. Baszler and her MMA compatriots, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir, have intimidated most of their division rivals, except Bianca Belair and Kairi Sane who look to humiliate the Queen of Spades tonight. Baszler can lose the title even if she isn't pinned during the Fatal Fourway, but will she find a way to continue her reign?
