Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley confronted Fox News on Tuesday morning for not telling "the truth" ahead of the New Hampshire primary election.
While appearing on Fox & Friends, the former United Nations ambassador and South Carolina governor was asked about what she considers a "strong showing" in the state's primary and how she will see herself comparing to former President Donald Trump.
"At the end of the day, you guys are going to be talking about what a strong showing is or not," Haley said. "Now, I don't know if y'all will tell the truth, but I think at the end of the day, if you look at the fact, that yes, we are down...I didn't get here by luck."

"Thirteen people and I'm down to one more person. That's by outsmarting and outworking," Haley added.
In response to Haley's comments, Fox & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade said, "You keep saying 'coronate, 'lie,' 'not tell the truth'—what you say on the couch. I'm really wondering why you think we are the enemy."
Haley responded: "Because I've looked at the media. Look at the media saying, 'Oh, this is Donald Trump's to have.'"
Newsweek reached out to Haley's press office and Fox News via email for comment.

Haley's comments come as residents in New Hampshire continue to cast their votes for the state's primary election, where she is currently against Trump as the two Republican candidates. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis recently announced the suspension of his presidential campaign and endorsed Trump in the race.
A Suffolk University/NBC10 Boston/Boston Globe poll this week found Trump holding a 60 percent to 38 percent lead over Haley.
When Haley was further asked on Fox & Friends why she believes they are the enemies, she said, "Look at the political class all coalescing and saying everybody needs to get out, that's not democracy, that's not who we are. When have we ever had two people, down to two people in New Hampshire, and you say, 'Oh, it's over.'"
Haley also said that if she is to lose to Trump in the New Hampshire primary, she will continue her campaign and head to her home state of South Carolina.
"When I ran for governor, I ran against an attorney general, a lieutenant governor, and a popular congressman, and I worked it and fought for it and earned it," Haley said. "I'm gonna go into South Carolina and do the same thing. I take nothing for granted."
As to whether she could end her campaign with a loss tonight, Haley said: "Of course not."
Following the Iowa caucuses, Trump went after Haley on Truth Social, saying, "Anyone listening to Nikki 'Nimrada' Haley's wacked out speech last night, would think that she won the Iowa Primary. She didn't, and she couldn't even beat a very flawed Ron DeSanctimonious, who's out of money, and out of hope."
