A heartwarming and hilarious video capturing a husband's exuberant reaction to his wife trying on an outfit outside her usual style has taken the internet by storm.
On TikTok, a couple revealed the unbelievable hype Jayden Minchew gave his wife, Channing, when she selected an outfit for their anniversary photos. The video of Jayden's shocked reaction has gone viral with over 954,000 views. The Minchews spoke to Newsweek about how the video perfectly captures their relationship full of support and affection.
"My golden retriever husband's reaction to an outfit outside my comfort zone," Channing captioned the video. "He rarely sees me dressed up so this was a big deal." The video shows Jayden peeking around a doorway before bursting in with a "Woah!" upon seeing her. His reaction escalates as he enters the room, dramatically falls to the floor and expresses his approval.

The video culminates with Jayden playfully rolling off the bed and declaring, "I'm literally obsessed with you. I am. I literally am."
Channing explained to Newsweek the motivation behind trying on the new look.
"I tried on that outfit because we are celebrating 10 years of being together in July and we want to celebrate by booking a studio photoshoot together," she said. "I have been struggling to find an outfit to wear...I tried on that particular outfit when Jayden was out running errands, so I decided to keep it on and surprise him when he got home with it."
For Channing, the outfit was a step into new territory. "It was out of my comfort zone because I very rarely get dressed up," she shared. "My style is pretty chill, so Jayden is definitely not used to seeing me all glammed up."
And for Jayden, his on-camera reaction was entirely genuine. "To be honest, I was blown away at how beautiful she looked," he admitted. "She always looks beautiful, but she really caught me off guard by surprising me. And yes, I'm a very loud person, so that's really the only way I know how to show my affection."
'He Truly Pays Attention'
The supportive and appreciative dynamic is a cornerstone of their relationship, according to Channing.
"Jayden has always been my biggest hype man and makes me feel so beautiful and confident," she said. "He is also very observant and notices anytime I wear something new whether it's a new hairstyle, makeup product or outfit. This always makes me feel so special to know he truly pays attention to the little things."
The couple ultimately said that the viral video was just another example of the mutual support in their bond.
"Our relationship dynamic has always been very supportive of each other," they shared. "We've always made it a priority that we make each other feel seen and valued in our relationship."
"The reaction you see in the video is the energy I get from Jayden on a daily basis," Channing added. "He truly is my biggest fan and I never want to take that for granted."
