A mom of three who suggested having "one more" baby to her husband did not know what was around the corner.
Alexandra Coon (@dra.coon) posted a reel on Instagram featuring her twin toddlers and their younger sister. The text overlay reads: "We should have one more, maybe we'll have a boy."
Seconds later, the scene cuts to a sonogram showing not one, but three babies. Alexandra captioned the video: "Famous last words—let's have one more."

Alexandra and her husband Kevan, both 36, had always dreamed of having four children. After having their twins, Maeve and Mackenzie, their third daughter, Adalie, felt surprisingly manageable.
The couple based in Atlanta originally planned to wait a few years before expanding their family again.
"[We] decided that, because we were already in the baby phase—diapers, cribs, all the things—we should just have our fourth and then they would be close in age," Alexandra told Newsweek.
When the parents discovered they'd be expecting triplets, they were in total shock. "My grandmother had two sets of twins, so we always knew that another set of twins was a possibility but never imagined triplets in a million years!" Alexandra said.
As well as the shock, fear began to set in for the mom of three. "How will we do this? What will NICU stays be like?" she questioned.
Fortunately, having had twins gave them some preparation. "We had experienced the high-risk doctors, the extra appointments, and the early delivery and NICU time," Alexandra told Newsweek. "It was still very hard, but less unknown to us."
With the new additions, Collins, Caden and Camille, the parents now have six children under six.
The day-to-day is understandably chaotic, but Alexandra relies on structure and routine.
"You also have to find the beauty in it every day," she said. "My husband is definitely the sense of humor—he can really lighten the mood and help us all laugh when it feels chaotic."
Alexandra's clip has racked up 888,000 views and over 11,000 likes. Viewers were stunned by the surprise triplets but many pointed out that the couple finally got the boy they asked for.
"You asked for one boy but forgot to specify the number of girls," one user wrote.
"I'm done playing roulette, hopefully I'll get a grandson someday," added another.
A third commenter called the clip "iconic."
When asked about her "famous last words," Alexandra believes many parents face the dilemma of wondering whether they should have another baby.
"When we decided to try for our fourth child, I wouldn't have ever guessed it would be triplets," she said. "It wasn't one more, but three more!"
