She stands focused and unflinching, locking eyes with her opponent as if already sizing him up.
The text overlay reads: “You thought your daughter would be a Barbie loving princess but instead she's whatever this is. I'm here for it.” Riah featured Paramore’s "Ain’t It Fun" and captioned the post simply: “The coolest girl in town tbh.”
The video has amassed 3.1 million views on TikTok, with almost 2,000 comments from other users who were both amused and inspired by the girl’s demeanor.
“May she NEVER succumb to the pressure to quiet that fire that comes for all women,” one wrote.
Another added, “She got that dawg in her,” while a third focused on the moment that made the clip unforgettable: “It’s the constant eye contact. I’m here for it. Go girl!”
Many parents chimed in with their own experiences, relating to the unexpected paths their children have taken.
"I have one of those... she's now at UCLA school of music as a rock drummer," one user shared.
“OMG this would be a fever dream! Instead I’m at cheer comps. It would blow your mind the similarities lol. Hey we’re on a mat though!” one commenter joked.
Riah replied, revealing that her daughter’s interests don’t stop at wrestling. “Ahh love it! We will be joining you soon enough because she also loves gymnastics and cheer and starts next week,” she wrote.
“Is no one going to talk about the confidence this little girl must have to walk out their without her shoes even tied and be ready to show him the what for?!” another said.
Others reflected on seeing girls thrive in traditionally male-dominated sports. “When my son did wrestling, I always got a little bit of joy watching the girls wrap the boys up,” one person commented. “She’s fabulous!!!”
Several comments highlighted the long-term impact of letting children embrace who they are without limitation. “Mine was just like this. She’s 31 now and she can handle anything!!!” another viewer shared.
One commenter summed it up perfectly: “This is how legends are made.”
