President Donald Trump, former President Bill Clinton, filmmaker Woody Allen and other celebrities are featured in new photos from Jeffrey Epstein's estate released by Democrats on the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform who said it received 95,000 photos and released some of them publicly on Friday.

"These disturbing images raise even more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the most powerful men in the world," X account OversightDems wrote Friday.

Meanwhile, the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform's account wrote on X on Friday, "Once again, Oversight Democrats are chasing headlines by releasing a handful of selectively censored and cherry-picked photos from the Epstein Estate. Democrats' hoax against President Trump has been completely debunked. Nothing in the documents we've received shows any wrongdoing."

The photos released on Friday were separate from the case files that the Department of Justice (DOJ) is compelled to release under the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

Why It Matters

Epstein, a sex offender and disgraced financier, was found dead at age 66 in New York's Metropolitan Correctional Center in August 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. His death was ruled a suicide.

Epstein had social connections with many prominent people, including Trump and Clinton. Neither has been accused of any wrongdoing in relation to Epstein, with Trump saying his relationship with the sex offender ended years before his death.

What People Are Saying

Representative Robert Garcia, Ranking Member of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform and a California Democrat, said in a statement on Friday: “It is time to end this White House cover-up and bring justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends. These disturbing photos raise even more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the most powerful men in the world. We will not rest until the American people get the truth. The Department of Justice must release all the files, NOW.”

Former President Bill Clinton's spokesman Angel Ureña said in a 2019 statement: “President Clinton knows nothing about the terrible crimes Jeffrey Epstein pleaded guilty to in Florida some years ago, or those with which he has been recently charged in New York.”

Bill Gates in an interview with The Wall Street Journal earlier this year about Epstein: "In retrospect, I was foolish to spend any time with him. And he, sort of, got time with various people by spending time with other people. So yes, I think I was quite stupid. I thought it would help me with global health philanthropy. In fact, it failed to do that it was just a huge mistake."

X account OversightDems wrote on Friday in part: "...Time to end this White House cover-up. Release the files!

House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform's account on X on Friday: "Ranking Member Robert Garcia and Oversight Democrats should be ashamed of this disgusting behavior of putting politics above justice for the survivors."

What Happens Next?

The DOJ has until December 19 to release files related to Epstein under the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
