An iPhone user has shared what they called a "sloppy" bug after the latest iOS update released by Apple, and other users on social media were similarly annoyed.
Reddit user Super-Alchemist-270 shared the realization on the r/iOS forum, where they pointed out that the iPhone's time and battery percentage were obscured by the top of the Reddit app on their phone.
"I can’t believe how downgrading it has been from iOS 17," the user wrote. "It looks like a cheap Android skin that doesn’t even have a good processor to render basic apps. What do you think?"

Reddit users flocked to the comments to weigh in, with one writing, "Every few days I see something that makes me roll my eyes. I agree it’s really sloppy. I also think we need to accept that this is the new Apple."
Another agreed, adding, "And if you bring it up, a ton of people get defensive about it, instead of calling an apple an apple."
However, one commenter noted that "this is nothing new."
"A lot of people in the comments are acting like this is an iOS 26 issue," they wrote. "No, this bug has been around long before iOS 26."
Other commenters had found separate issues.
"Not just that," one posted. "The f****** maps are now asking if I want to save time and suggest getting me on the highway when I have the option disabled for a reason."
Problems with iOS 26.3
Apple’s iOS 26.3 update introduced several security improvements and system refinements, but many users quickly reported bugs after installing it.
One of the most widely discussed problems has been battery drain—some iPhone owners say their devices lose charge faster than expected after updating.
In addition to battery concerns, some users have reported general performance issues, including keyboard lag, slower system responsiveness and app instability after the update.
Other bugs mentioned by users include CarPlay crashes, Mail app glitches, and connectivity problems with certain features.
Some drivers reported CarPlay disconnecting unexpectedly, while others experienced problems sending or loading emails in the Mail application.
Because of these reports, Apple released a follow-up update, iOS 26.3.1, aimed at improving stability and fixing software glitches identified in the earlier build.
