In a viral post, a cat owner shared footage of their feline having the best time of his life on his very own roller coaster ride, and internet users can’t cope with it.

The hilarious Instagram video, shared in February under the username @benty.catofficiel, shows the tabby cat sitting inside a box, attentively watching a roller coaster play on a large screen right in front of him as his owner shakes him around, simulating the movement of the ride.

The kitty is clearly into the game, so much so that he can even been seen moving his head and ears around, ducking obstacles, like he is on the actual ride.

Playtime is essential for a cat’s health because it provides both physical exercise and mental stimulation, helping them stay active, avoid boredom, and reduce issues such as obesity and behavioral problems.

Experts at PetMD say regular play supports natural instincts such as stalking and pouncing, and strengthens the bond between cats and their owners. The medical website recommends breaking play into short sessions rather than one long session, because felines lose interest if play goes on too long.

Generally, most cats benefit from two or three daily play sessions lasting 10 to 15 minutes each, though this can vary based on the feline’s age, energy, and personality. Kittens often need more frequent, intense play, while adult and older cats may require less. Certain high-energy breeds may also need extra play compared to calmer breeds.

The right toys also matter. Wand toys and feather teasers help engage a cat’s hunting instincts, while interactive options like puzzle toys are ideal for when you are not available to play. If your feline seems bored, stressed, or is showing destructive behaviors, then they may need more play and stimulation.
