The Houston Texans (11‑5) return home to NRG Stadium to host the Indianapolis Colts (8‑8) in the final game of the regular season, with the Texans still in the hunt for a third straight AFC South title.

Houston has rebounded impressively from a 0‑3 start and enters this game with a strong defense that ranks among the league leaders in points allowed, giving up just 16.6 points per game. A victory coupled with a Jaguars loss would give the Texans the division crown and a higher seed in the AFC playoffs. The Colts, eliminated from postseason contention, will instead use this matchup to evaluate young talent and end their season on a positive note while also playing spoiler to their division rival.

For Houston, quarterback C.J. Stroud will be the central figure in the offense; he has been efficient and productive in recent weeks and will be critical in keeping drives alive and moving the chains. Wide receiver Nico Collins, who has amassed over 1,100 receiving yards this season and emerged as a team leader, will be the primary target in the passing game. Running back Woody Marks also provides a multifaceted threat on the ground and through the air.

On the Colts' side, running back Jonathan Taylor has been one of the league’s most productive rushers, ranking near the top in rushing yards and touchdowns, and is a player to watch whether the Colts lean on the ground game or play through him in the open field. Rookie quarterback Riley Leonard is expected to start and will look to show growth and poise against a stout Texans defense, with wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. and wide receiver Josh Downs his top options in the passing attack.

This is a great NFL matchup that you will not want to miss; make sure to tune in and catch all the action.
