Newly released video from Hillary Clinton's Jeffrey Epstein testimony shows the former secretary of state blasting Republicans last week after she learned that photos were leaked from the closed-door deposition.

Newsweek reached out to a political analyst via email for comment.

Why It Matters

The deposition formed part of a high-profile congressional inquiry into the late financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and followed months of disputes over subpoenas issued to Hillary and Bill Clinton, with the latter’s testimony marking the first time a former president was compelled to testify before Congress.

What To Know

"I'm done with this. If you guys are doing that, I am done. You can hold me in contempt from now until the cows come home. This is just typical behavior," Clinton said, after her lawyer addressed the photo, which was leaked by Representative Lauren Bobert of Colorado to conservative influencer Benny Johnson, to the attention of the House Oversight Committee.

A voice could be heard in the background saying, "It was before the hearing was started." To that, Clinton said, "It doesn't matter. We all are abiding by the same rules."

The same voice says, "I will take that down."

Then Clinton said, "I'm done for now," as she left her seat.

Boebert later defended taking the photo of Hillary during the deposition and took to X afterwards saying, "No U.S. Ambassadors were harmed in the taking of today’s photo."

Clinton’s testimony occurred alongside a broader inquiry prompted by the release of millions of pages of Justice Department records under the Epstein Files Transparency Act signed in 2025.

Neither Hillary nor Bill Clinton has been accused of wrongdoing in relation to Epstein.
