Pet and human parents want to give their little ones anything and everything, but in doing so, they become spoiled. Instead, households need to be set up with boundaries, even if the little ones throw a pity party because they don't like the rules.
A TikTok dog known as @hugothegoldie_ is used to being the king of the castle and having the main sofa in the house as his domain. But when mom and dad needed to kick him off so they could sit and eat there, Hugo the golden retriever was taken aback. How dare they?
He had to make himself comfortable in a new spot on the sofa next to the main one. And he did so in a way to show his parents how he truly felt. Cue Sarah McLachlan's Angel since this song was on repeat in Hugo's mind.

In the February 24 video, Hugo curls up in the corner of the other couch. His entire body sinks in and he hunches over, defeated. Except there is nothing to feel defeated about since he still has couch privileges, but good luck trying to tell Hugo that. He thinks his life is so rough.
No matter how upset Hugo seemed, his parents did not cave. They did not fall for his pity party and let him have the main couch back.
It's not like they kicked him off completely. He still had an entire couch to himself to spread out and lounge. Most dogs don't even get to sit on couches. Hugo needs to count his blessings!
Instead, Hugo is letting them know he won't forget this moment as it is the rudest thing his owners have ever done.
