Some dogs barely make a sound, while others are incredibly vocal, making their feelings on certain situations clearly known. One dog who certainly falls in to the latter category is Sunny the French bulldog, who was recently filmed making his feelings about being on the subway widely heard.

In the video posted to the TikTok account @sunny_emilio, Sunny can be seen sitting in a stroller on the subway, making a very loud noise, talking to the other passengers. As the camera pans around the carriage, other passengers can be heard laughing along with Sunny.

"I think we will be banned," reads the caption.

Generally, experts agree that French bulldogs are not a particularly vocal breed, but there are certain situations that can make them more vocal than normal.

"Even though the French bulldog is not usually an excessive barker, there are plenty of things that can make this breed bark," says dog food and supplement manufacturer Native Breed, "These include territorial and attention-seeking behavior, separation anxiety, fear, and even some health issues."

All dogs have individual personalities and how much or how little noise your Frenchie makes can vary from dog to dog.

"How much they make is completely down to the individual, their training and personality," says the People's Dispensary for Sick Animals.

"This said, they're not known for being big barkers unless they are bored or something is wrong, so as long as your Frenchie is getting enough exercise and playtime, you'll likely find they are fairly quiet dogs. If you're having problems with excessive noise or barking, we recommend seeking the advice of an accredited behaviorist."

The best way to describe the noise Sunny is making on the subway is a type of singing sound.

"Some vocal dogs try to sing along by howling to music or sounds on television," commented the American Kennel Club, "If a noise has the right pitch, like an operatic aria, your singing dog may belt out a chorus. Many owners with singers find it an endless amusement."

Users on TikTok loved the vocal pooch.

"He's literally saying HELLO EVERYONE. Just listen," said one user on TikTok, while another commented, "I'm the bad influence because I would start holding an entire conversation."
