Today's Fortbyte continues Epic's recent tradition of sending players on unique scavenger hunts to collect special items. Just like every Fortbyte before it, this one reveals a small piece of a Loading Screen that will be fully uncovered towards the end of July. While the Season 9 Battle Pass is required to take full advantage of what Fortbytes offer, even fans that haven't paid are still watching Fortbyte developments with eager anticipation. Some players think Fortbytes might offer clues about Fortnite 's next major live event. Over the past week collectors have found Fortbytes at Taco Shops, at the Battle Royale map's northernmost point and inside Castle Ruins.
