Unlike Wednesday's Fortbyte, Fortbyte #16 is accessible without the Season 9 Battle Pass. It once again showcases Epic's immense creativity in designing unique fetch quests. Just like all Fortbytes, collecting this one offers a small piece of a special Loading Screen that will be fully unveiled towards the end of July. While those who don't own the Battle Pass won't be able to see the full image, there should be enough real estate available to get a solid glimpse at what's going on.
Over the past few weeks of Fortbytes, players have found these special microchips at named locations, in special buildings and located on specific mountains at certain times of day.
