Eleven people were injured in a shooting near Florida A&M University's Bragg Memorial Stadium on Saturday, police said.

Tallahassee Police Chief Lawrence Revell said the victims included six juveniles, one of whom was just 11-years-old. One victim is a Florida A&M University student.

Revell said one victim is in a critical condition, three have serious injuries, while the remainder are stable. The grandmother of one of the victims was also injured while running from the scene.

The shooting took place shortly after the Florida A&M Rattlers were beaten 31-28 by the Arkansas–Pine Bluff Golden Lions in a homecoming football game at the stadium.

Tallahassee police believe there was a physical altercation before the shooting, according to the local network WCTV. No arrests have been made and the incident remains under investigation.

"We're still working the scene. Our detectives, our sergeants, our forensic personnel are all on scene and processing this as we go, taking in as much information as they can," Revell said.

"As our detectives work to determine exactly what happened and identify those responsible, we remain committed to getting answers for these families."

Newsweek contacted the Tallahassee Police Department for comment on Sunday by telephone and email, and Florida A&M University via email, outside of regular office hours.
