Best MLB Stadium Tour
By Fans' Choice On 7/23/25 at 12:10 PM EDT
Share
The smell of popcorn, the crack of the bat, the cheers as your favorite player rounds third base—baseball stadiums fill lovers of the game with a special thrill that only sports can give. What better way to celebrate your fandom than with a guided tour of your home team's ballpark? Our lineup of all-star stadium tours gives you access to places typically off limits, from posh clubs where team owners mingle to dugouts where you can warm a bench that's usually occupied by greats like Aaron Judge or Shohei Ohtani. And there's always a chance you might meet a player or a mascot, so keep your autograph pen ready as you explore these fantastic fields.
These 10 MLB stadium tours were selected by our featured panelists and contributors and voted on by readers as the best of the best.
1. Citizens Bank Park | Philadelphia, PA

Get a selfie with the Mike Schmidt statue before beginning your 75-minute tour of Citizens Bank Park. This family-friendly baseball adventure takes you through Ashburn Alley, where you can eat a cheesesteak while you watch pitchers in the bullpen (and if you're lucky, get a high-five from the Philly Phanatic!). And the Media Room gives you the chance to sit behind the table as if you're ready for a post-game interview.
2. Fenway Park | Boston, MA

Venerable Fenway Park has some of the MLB's iconic landmarks, from writing on Pesky's Pole in right field to touching the Green Monster for luck. Explore the over 100-year-old ballpark with guides that take you from the field to the top of the stadium for Boston cityscape views. One tour lets you try on uniforms and swing for the fences in the batting cage—you'll be singing "Sweet Caroline" all the way home.
3. Daikin Park | Houston, TX

Deep in the heart of Houston you'll find Daikin Park, home of the Astros and their iconic home run train. There are lots of ways to explore this space-age sluggers' paradise, from 15-minute walks around the warning track to two-hour treks through the stadium's nooks and crannies, including the dugout. You can even watch your favorite players from behind home plate as they take swings during a pre-game batting practice.
4. T-Mobile Park | Seattle, WA

Tridents up! Touring the Seattle Mariners T-Mobile Park will give you all the vibes of game day as you poke your head into the owners' suite and take a lap around the warning track. Hold on to your ballcap as you step out onto the Rooftop Boardwalk, where the cool breeze and Puget Sound views (and Seattle's famous garlic fries) might make you forget you're in a baseball stadium.
5. PNC Park | Pittsburgh, PA

Set against the Allegheny River, the bright yellow Roberto Clemente bridge and Pittsburgh's photogenic skyline, PNC Park just might have the prettiest backdrop in all of baseball. Get your ticket for a pre-game tour to see exclusive areas like the service tunnel and VIP suites before watching the Pirates raise the Jolly Roger after a win. Kids are always welcome, so you can treat your little Pirates to a big-league day.
6. Dodger Stadium | Los Angeles, CA

In the famous words of sportscaster Vin Scully, "It's time for Dodger baseball!" If you're a sports fan and in LA, it's high time for a tour of one of the most iconic ballparks in the game. Depending on the tour you choose, you'll get a peek at the Dodgers clubhouse, the team's eight World Series trophies and prized memorabilia like Mike Piazza's catcher's gear. And no trip is complete without eating a legendary Dodger Dog.
7. Wrigley Field | Chicago, IL

Come see what makes the Friendly Confines so friendly: Wrigley Field lets Cubs fans walk through the team's dugout and the press box—feel free to break out your own rendition of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" just like sportscasting legend Harry Caray. And you'll definitely want to touch the ivy on the outfield walls as you walk by. Touring this storied field is a wildly popular Chicago activity, so get tickets early.
8. Truist Park | Atlanta, GA

One of the oldest MLB franchises has one of the newest stadiums to explore—exclusive clubs, rooftop gardens that grow the lettuce for your ballpark burger and a grand slam of a museum (it's home to Hank Aaron's record-breaking home run ball and bat). While the Braves tours are amazing, the shopping might be even better, from game-used memorabilia stores to the Battery, an entertainment district built right into the stadium.
9. Coors Field | Denver, CO

The Mile High City knows how to treat baseball fans—Coors Field opens its gates for a behind-the-scenes peek into the Rockies facilities, which includes dazzling views of the Rocky Mountains. One of the coolest sights to see up close is the Purple Row, a line of purple seats in the upper deck that marks the stadium's one-mile elevation above sea level. Don't worry; no oxygen mask needed to hike up there!
10. Yankee Stadium | Bronx, NY

Whether you love 'em or hate 'em, the Yankees have one of the richest legacies in baseball. Put on your pinstripes and tour the home of Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Lou Gehrig and Yogi Berra for a behind-the-scenes look at the team that's won more World Series titles than any other franchise. If you don't have time for an hour-long tour, spend a few minutes in the incredible museum—it's free with a game ticket.
